Bokya Satbande - a collection of short stories by Dilip Prabhavalkar,
has been awarded Bal Sahitya Puraskar 2011
for Children's Literature (Short Stories) in Marathi
by the Sahitya Akademi - India's national academy of letters.

Bokya Satbande is a collection of short stories woven around
the central character of an inquisitive schoolboy
which has been continually updated and made contemporary
over a span of 20 years across several media starting with radio
and spilling over to television and cinema, from the published book series.
The latest Volumes 6 & 7 were published recently in July 2011
by Rajhans Prakashan - compiled from a year long episodic weekly column
in the children's supplement of marathi newspaper Loksatta over the span of 2010.
