A : Unfortunately, due to lack of time, Dilip Prabhavalkar no longer accepts 'chief guest' invites.

Q : We want to perform Hasvaphasvi / Chook Bhool / One Act Plays (or any other scripts) written by DP
      on a non-commercial basis, as a one-time performance.
      Do we need to take permission from Dilip Prabhavalkar?

A : Yes. You can write to him for permission.
      The royalty for one performance varies from One-act plays to Hasvaphasvi.
      All royalties are given as donations to a charity which is supported by Dilip Prabhavalkar.
      He will guide you how to go about it in his reply to your request.

Q : We want to perform one of the scripts written by him on a commercial basis -
      as a series of performances to be staged and ticketed in an auditorium.

A : This will need special permission. You will need to meet him personally to work out the details.
      You can write to him to seek an appointment.

Q : We want to adapt one of the works written by him into another language / medium.

A : This will need a discussion with him personally. You can write to him to seek an appointment.

Q : Are Chimanrao / Shriyut Gangadhar Tipre / Kalam 302 / Chook Bhool Dyavi Ghyavi / Albatya Galbatya
     available in the market as VCDs, DVDs?

A : Some of these are not available, except as re-runs on television or on YouTube.
      Some were never documented. Some were available, but currently out of stock.

      CHIMANRAO
      Not available in any form, except if telecast by Sahyadri Marathi as part of their archival shows.
      The rights of Chimanrao are with Doordarshan.

      TIPRE
      Not available as VCD/DVD. There have been frequent re-runs on Zee Marathi.
      The episodes are now available on Zee Marathi's YouTube channel.

      It is upto Doordarshan / Zee Marathi to make these episodes available to the public in whatever form.

      EK DAAV BHUTACHA
      VCDs were available. currently seem to be out of stock. we will keep you posted if they do become available.

      KALAM 302, CHOOK BHOOL, ALBATYA GALBATYA, EK ZUNJ WARYASHI
      Unfortunately these were never filmed for archiving.
      Some clips maybe available as part of 'Natyavalokan'.
      In case we get hold of these we will make them available on the Video Gallery.
